Ar Roca Esmeralda & Spa Hotel, Calpe

We had a lovely family holiday at this hotel. The location is fantastic, right near the beach, and the staff went above and beyond to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The room was clean and spacious, although the indoor pool maintenance was a letdown. Dining options were good, but I wish the setup was a bit more streamlined during peak hours.

We stayed at this hotel with a large group, and while the location near the beach was fantastic, there were several issues during our stay. The rooms were acceptable but not up to modern standards, and the food quality left much to be desired, often feeling bland. However, the pool area was enjoyable, and the staff, especially Sofia at the reception, went above and beyond to assist us despite the challenges with service during peak periods.
